Additional information

Velvet

Velvet is a fabric with a luxurious texture and appearance, characterised by its soft, velvety surface. It is a shadowed fabric, meaning it tends to shift in shade depending on the lighting. Velvet looks particularly striking in rich, earthy tones such as green, deep brown, grey, and blue. Modern velvet is often made with blends of synthetic fibres, viscose, or polyamide. This elegant material is currently very popular in interior design and is widely used for furniture and decorative items like cushions. Velvet blends beautifully into home interiors, making it a fabric well worth considering when choosing new upholstery. Over time, some areas of the fabric may lose their soft velvet texture – this is a natural part of the fabric’s charm and character. How to care for velvet: To refresh the fabric, use a soft-bristled brush or a handheld steamer. If any liquid is spilled, blot it immediately with an absorbent cloth – do not rub, as this may damage the fabric. Use only cleaners specifically designed for velvet or warm water with mild soap. Always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first.

Designed for wall placement

The back is covered in technical fabric. Designed for placement against a wall.

'Click-Clack' unfolding mechanism

This simple unfolding mechanism is extremely easy to use. With just two movements, the furniture transforms into a bed. Lift the seat section until you feel it lock into place, then lower it to fully unfold the unit into a sleeping position. To return it to its original form, simply repeat the steps in reverse. Before transforming the furniture, it’s recommended to leave a small gap between the wall and the back of the sofa to avoid damaging the wall when lifting the seat. This mechanism also includes a built-in storage compartment – perfect for keeping bedding neatly tucked away.

Fabrics

Venus Velvet fabric

Slightly shiny fabric with a subtle shadow effect, which is why it tends to change shade depending on the lighting. It is resistant to abrasion and pilling. Produced using Cleanaboo technology, it prevents liquids from being absorbed so spills can be wiped away with a dry cloth. The dense structure prevents pet hair from sticking to the surface, making it easy to remove with a lint roller or damp cloth.

Beautiful in its lines and comfortable as a container, but too rigid and hard in the comfort of the cushions,

Reply from Furniture.mt 2026-04-02

Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback! We're pleased to hear that you appreciated the design and functionality of the storage unit. Regarding the firmness of the cushions, we understand that comfort is a very subjective matter: some customers prefer firmer seating, others softer. We hope that with use, the cushions will soften slightly and become more comfortable for your needs. Best regards, Arredamento1.it

The quantity of the product is good, the only thing is that it is too hard to sleep on it, it makes shoulders and shoulders ache, however, the quality is valid.
