Zig Zag springs

Zigzag springs are among the most popular choices in upholstered furniture manufacturing. They are mounted at equal spacing along the furniture frame. Thanks to their curved, serpentine shape, these springs are both flexible and durable. As a result, upholstered furniture retains consistent seating comfort throughout its use.

Freestanding

Fully upholstered back. Suitable for placement in the center of the room.

'Dolphin' unfolding mechanism

This is a simple and convenient solution that allows you to transform the furniture into a bed with minimal effort. The drawer located beneath the seat section is discreetly hidden, and once pulled out, it reveals a comfortable sleeping surface. To unfold the bed, simply pull the lower section towards you to slide out the drawer containing the additional mattress. Then, using the built-in loop, lift the mattress upwards into position. The sleeping surface is slightly firmer than standard options. Thanks to the fixed backrest, this piece of furniture can be placed directly against a wall without affecting its functionality.

Velvet

Velvet is a fabric with a luxurious texture and appearance, characterised by its soft, velvety surface. It is a shadowed fabric, meaning it tends to shift in shade depending on the lighting. Velvet looks particularly striking in rich, earthy tones such as green, deep brown, grey, and blue. Modern velvet is often made with blends of synthetic fibres, viscose, or polyamide. This elegant material is currently very popular in interior design and is widely used for furniture and decorative items like cushions. Velvet blends beautifully into home interiors, making it a fabric well worth considering when choosing new upholstery. Over time, some areas of the fabric may lose their soft velvet texture – this is a natural part of the fabric’s charm and character. How to care for velvet: To refresh the fabric, use a soft-bristled brush or a handheld steamer. If any liquid is spilled, blot it immediately with an absorbent cloth – do not rub, as this may damage the fabric. Use only cleaners specifically designed for velvet or warm water with mild soap. Always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first.

Highly recommended sofa for the price. I would suggest making the headrests more padded for better comfort. Otherwise, it's very good.

The sofa is high-quality and solid. However, I probably wouldn't have chosen this color in person. It's not the same shade as on the computer screen.

Our first sofa we bought together arrived before Christmas, which we ordered blind, but it was the best choice. It is comfortable, has a harder seating surface, you don't feel anyone moving next to us, we could fit 4 of us next to each other, opened in front of the TV, it's also great to sleep on. It's easy to open, and the adjustable headrests are a plus. ❤️ The fabric is also great, really good material. I can only list one drawback, the fabric of the pull-out part does not match the rest of the sofa, which is a shame because it is also used. Overall, I recommend it with all my heart! Update: We still love it, we lie on it every day, we often fall asleep on it! :D

Dear Ákos and Domi, Thank you very much for your feedback! We are glad that the sofa has worked so well in everyday life. Thank you also for drawing attention to the remark regarding the fabric of the pull-out part. It is also clear from the photos uploaded on our website that the material is different from the rest of the sofa when open, this is basically how the manufacturer designed it. We hope to welcome you among our customers in the future. Best regards, Bútor1 team
